GIOI- Itinerario bilingüe en inglés
In accordance with its commitment to excellence and internationalization, the Polytechnic School of the University of Burgos offers a Bilingual Programme within the Degree of Industrial Management Engineering. Learning in English is a highly-demanded option not only by our students and by students taking part in mobility programmes, but also by companies currently searching for skilled professionals confronting the challenges of a global world.
The Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management Engineering provides the students with the capability to deal with the optimization of complex systems or organizations, i.e. industrial processes, manufacturing plants or services, integrating methods and techniques from the engineering as well as management science. Industrial Management Engineers work to eliminate all sources of a waste of time, materials, money or any other resource that does not generate value.
Bilingual Option 
To accomplish the Bilingual Academic Itinerary the student must undertake at least 90 ECTS in English, within the degree or in mobility programs. For this purpose, it will be considered:
- The courses in English within the Degree of Industrial Management Engineering of the University of Burgos.
- The courses in English under a mobility program (e.g. Erasmus, Sicue, or otherwise) as a result of an agreement with the Degree of Industrial Management Engineering of the University of Burgos.
- The credits in English recognised in the Degree of Industrial Management Engineering of the University of Burgos.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the bilingual option students must meet one of the following requirements: have been in a bilingual program in secondary school (English-Spanish); have obtained a final mark of 7 or above in English in the PAU (University Access Test); have a English qualification at minimum level B1 or have passed a language test at the corresponding level (for more information, please refer to https://fundacionubu.com/fundacion). International students are also eligible.
The certification of the bilingual itinerary will be obtained upon request of the interested party in the student secretariat once the 90 credits required in English are reached. In it, the student must detail, if necessary, the subjects taken in said language in mobility programs and, also if necessary, must provide the required language certification.
Opción bilingüe (español - inglés)
Nuestro compromiso con la excelencia y la internacionalición nos ha llevado a ofrecer un programa bilingüe, Español- Inglés, en el Grado en Ingeniería de Organización Industrial de la Universidad de Burgos. Esta opción nos ha venido demandada no solamente por los estudiantes actuales y por estudiantes de intercambio, sino por las empresas, que buscan profesionales con habilidades que les permita hacer frente a los retos de un mercado global.
El Grado en Ingeniería en Organización Industrial propociona la capacidad para optimizar sistemas complejos y organizaciones, como procesos industriales, plantas de producción y servicios; integrando métodos, técnicas de la ingeniería, así como de gestión empresarial. Los Ingenieros de Organización Industrial trabajan para eliminar toda fuente de despercicios: de tiempo, materiales, económico o cualquier otro recurso que no genere valor.
Para obtener la certificación del itinerario bilingüe, el estudiante deberá superar 90 créditos de asignaturas impartidas en inglés, entre las ofrecidas en el grado y en programas de movilidad, y cumplir alguno de los siguientes requisitos:
- Haber obtenido como mínimo una nota de 7 (notable) en idioma Inglés en las Pruebas de Acceso a la Universidad.
- Acreditar un nivel B1 de inglés.
- Superar una prueba de nivel al comienzo del curso que realizará la Universidad de Burgos (https://fundacionubu.com/fundacion).
A la hora de realizar la PREINSCRIPCIÓN deberá hacerlo en el Grado de Ingeniería en Organización Industrial. Una vez que aparezca en la lista de admitidos, a la hora de realizar la matrícula se deberá elegir el Grupo de Inglés, 80 (Grupo de Teoría) y 801 (Grupo Práctico) en las asignaturas ofertadas en Bilingüe.
La certificación del itinerario bilingüe se obtendrá previa solicitud del interesado en secretaría de alumnos una vez alcance los 90 créditos requeridos en inglés. En ella deberá detallar, si fuera necesario, las asignaturas cursadas en dicho idioma en programas de movilidad y, también si fuese necesario, deberá aportar la certificación requerida del idioma.
